ES-U-x USB to Serial Converters

Connective Peripherals ES-U-x USB to Serial Converters enable the adaptation of RS-232 or RS-422/485 devices to work with modern USB ports using an FTDI chipset. These converters use a 7-way DIP switch to choose 120Ω termination on Tx, Rx, and CTS and 750Ω biasing resistors on Tx and Rx. The ES-U-2101-MC and ES-U-3001-MC converters are available in 1, 8, and 16-port versions. These converters feature software (X-on/X-off) flow control and power and Tx/Rx LED indicators help to confirm operation and assist in troubleshooting. The ES-U-x converters are used in factory automation equipment, barcode readers, time clocks, multidrop data collection devices, scales, and data entry terminals.
