GCT USB Type-C^® Connector Solutions are robust and improved I/O interconnect systems with new functionality and increased performance. The USB Type-C connectors feature a reversible mating form factor with up to 10Gbps transfer rates and a 5A maximum power rating. The standard USB Type-C connector has 24 contacts, though other versions offer fewer contacts, like GCT ionex® Type-C with 16 contacts.
