Datamate T-Contact 2mm-Pitch Connectors

Harwin Datamate T-Contacts are designed to improve the current-carrying capacity of the 2mm pitch Datamate J-Tek range from 3A to up to 8.5A. These Harwin female power contacts use a single-piece six-finger construction that is resilient to shock (100G) and vibrational forces (40G for six hours, two hours on each axis). The crimp barrels accept 22AWG wire and comply with IPC-A-620 cable harnessing specifications. The beryllium copper contacts have 30-40µ" gold plating to ensure that reliable performance is maintained in military and other demanding application environments. These contacts feature durability of up to 1000 mating cycles and operate in a -55°C to +125°C temperature range. The T-Contact exhibits 60% greater contact wipe compared to existing Datamate contacts, improving the self-cleaning action and reducing the possibility of surface contamination arising.
