AVX 9159 Series Vertical SMT Plugs feature a small footprint that is ideal for applications where multiple printed circuit boards need to be plugged together. Designed primarily for the Solid State Lighting (SSL) market, the 9159 Series Vertical SMT Plugs can be mounted on one side of the PCB to allow LEDs to be placed on the other side which maintains consistent spacing. These connectors carry up to 3 Amps/contact and function up to 125⁰C for extended periods of time. The 9159 Series is tested per IEC specifications to assure it can withstand the industrial levels of shock, vibration and temperature cycling. The 9159 Series Vertical SMT Plugs are ideal for use in LED lighting strips for sports arena signs, display cases, lighted cabinets, fluorescent tube replacement and architectural lights used for building feature enhancement or internal feature lighting. KYOCERA AVX 9159 Solid State LED Lighting Connectors are board-to-board and wire-to-board interconnects with 2- to 6-way plugs and sockets or a card edge style for daisy-chaining multiple LED boards together in a series. The simple and cost-effective one-piece card edge connectors on a 2.0mm pitch provide multiple connections to tin plated fingers at the end of each 1.60mm thick PCB. The two-piece plug and receptacle SMT connector systems are on a 3.0mm pitch with a miniature 3.0mm height and 5.5mm overall mated length. KYOCERA AVX 9159 Solid State LED Lighting Connectors are UL approved and RoHS compliant.
