28x Ferrite Cable Cores

Laird Technologies 28x Ferrite Cable Cores come in four variants: split/snap-on (28A), cylindrical (28B), solid core (28R), and split core (28S). The 28x ferrite cable cores are constructed from ultra-thin mixtures of iron, nickel, and zinc oxides. They are available in cylinder, ribbon, split-flat, and clamp-on shapes. Laird Technologies 28x ferrite cable cores provide excellent differential and common mode EMI suppression on flat cable assemblies.

28A Ferrite Clamp Filters

Laird Technologies 28A Ferrite Clamp Filters are split, snap-on cores in plastic cases for broadband EMI filtering. The 28A series is designed for round cables and wiring harnesses. For retrofit and post-assembly operations, Laird Technologies offers a selection of "split" cores that are similar in performance to the one-piece core designs. The 28A split ferrite cores provide excellent common and differential mode EMI suppression on round cable assemblies. Lightweight plastic snap-on cases provide the secure closure of the split cores onto the cable. The cases are available in black or white with dimensions ranging from 5mm (0.197") to 56.63mm (2.23"). Laird Technologies 28A Ferrite Clamp Filters feature an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Typical impedance ranges from 50Ω to 232Ω at 25MHz, 120Ω to 511Ω at 100MHz, and 230Ω to 627Ω at 300MHz.
