Description of Change: The waffle pack used for shipping the
product will change the material and the pocket size will
decrease so as to prevent excessive movement of the part during
shipping. As a result of the pocket size change, the maximum
number of parts per waffle pack will change from 150 to 289.
Change Identification: Product date code 1324 and later.
Reason for Change: The smaller pocket will prevent the product
from rotating out of the intended position during transit. The
new waffle pack is being used for other products and is
constructed with a different material than the presently used
waffle pack.
Expected Effect on Quality and Performance: The quality and
performance of the products are not affected by this change.
Implementation of Change: June 10, 2013
Cessation of Present Form, Fit, or Function: Not applicable
since this is a change to packaging only.
Assessment: This change does not require a new qualification
report for the products nor does it require sampling for
customer evaluation.
