CLA/CLS/CLSS Self-Clinching Nuts

PEM CLA™/CLS™/CLSS™ Self-Clinching Nuts offer simple, press-in installation and provide load-bearing threads in thin sheets with high pushout and torque-out resistance. The nuts are installed by placing them into properly sized holes in sheets and applying a parallel squeezing force to the head of the nut. The sheet metal surrounding the head cold flows into an undercut, making the fastener an integral part of the sheet. The serrated clinching ring prevents the fastener from rotating after installation. The CLA series is compatible with aluminum anodizing and recommended for use in steel or aluminum sheets HRB 50 / HB 82 or less. The CLS/CLSS series are recommended for use in steel or aluminum sheets HRB 70 / HB 125 or less. PEM CLA/CL/CLSS Self-Clinching Nuts are non-magnetic and corrosion-resistant.

Datacom/Telecom (SSR)

PEM Datacom/Telecom (SSR) provides innovative solutions to fit today's demanding communication/transmission needs. PEM fastening products have a smaller footprint than traditional fasteners, making them ideally suited for smaller applications, and fewer components mean less scrap waste as well as faster installation. These fasteners are manufactured in PEM's Clean Lab, which uses sophisticated cleaning and testing processes to meet ISO 16232 and VDA 19 standards. PEM Datacom/Telecom (SSR) features a range of fasteners, including self-clinching nuts, self-clinching standoffs/spacers, and cable-mounting accessories. Typical applications are servers, switches, and routers to 5G network infrastructure and data centers.
