InnoSwitch ICs

Power Integrations InnoSwitch family combines primary, secondary, and feedback circuits in a single surface-mounted off-line flyback switcher IC. The InnoSwitch IC incorporates the primary FET, the primary-side controller, a secondary-side controller for synchronous rectification, and FluxLink technology to eliminate the need for an optocoupler.

InnoSwitch™3 with PowiGaN™ ICs

Power Integrations InnoSwitch™3 with PowiGaN™ ICs incorporate both primary and secondary controllers, with sensory elements and safety-rated feedback mechanism (FluxLink™) into a single IC. The InnoSwitch3-Series ICs offer ease of use in developing and manufacturing low-voltage, high-current power supplies.

Power Integrations InnoSwitch-CP Switcher ICs - INACTIVE

Power Integrations InnoSwitch™-CP Switcher ICs enable designers to simplify the development of low-voltage, high-current power supplies. The InnoSwitch-CP architecture integrates a flyback controller, 650V or 725V MOSFET, secondary-side sensing, a synchronous rectification driver, and a FluxLink™, HIPOT-isolated, feedback link to a single IC. InnoSwitch’s innovative use of the integrated communication link and close component proximity ensures accurate control of a secondary-side synchronous rectification MOSFET and optimizes primary-side switching. In addition, the minimal DC bias requirements of the link allow the system to achieve less than 15mW no-load to maximize efficiency in standby mode and meet EcoSmart™– Energy Efficient standards. The devices provide reinforced insulation and an isolation voltage of >4,000VAC. The InnoSwitch-CP Switcher ICs are ideal for compact enclosures or designs with high-efficiency requirements such as QC 3.0 and USB PD chargers.
