TPS55010 DC/DC Converter with Integrated FETs

Texas Instruments TPS55010 DC/DC Converter with Integrated FETs is a transformer driver designed to provide isolated power for isolated interfaces, such as RS-485 and RS-232, from a 3.3V or 5V input supply. The TI TPS55010 transformer driver uses fixed frequency current mode control and a half-bridge power stage with primary-side feedback to regulate the output voltage for power levels up to 2W. The switching frequency of this TI device is adjustable from 100kHz to 2000kHz, so solution size, efficiency, and noise can be optimized. The Texas Instruments TPS55010 DC/DC Converter with Integrated FETs can with the same transformer provide a solution for different input and output voltage combinations by adjusting the primary side voltage. The TPS55010 is designed for use in programmable logic controllers, medical devices, industrial automation, and noise-sensitive data acquisition devices.
