Vicor DCM™ DC-DC Converters in a VIA Package provide the leading power density and thermal and electrical performance of DCM technology in a rugged, chassis-mountable package. The VIA packaging technology offers enhanced versatility in converter mounting and cooling. The VIA package simplifies mounting to a chassis or other external heat sinking device and provides improved thermal performance. These Vicor DC-DC converters feature efficiencies up to 93%. The series includes nominal 300V_DC input models (180 or 200 to 420V_INrange) at output voltages of 12, 24, and 48V and at power levels up to 600W. It also includes nominal 28V_DC input models (16 to 50V_IN range) at output voltages of 12 and 24V and at power levels up to 320W. DCM DC-DC Converters in a VIA Package are ideally suited for use in a broad range of industrial, process control, automotive, heavy equipment, communications, and defense/aerospace applications.
