Nichicon High Voltage Design Kits offer multiple component options to engineers looking to meet design needs in the Micro/Mini Inverter market. The primary components included in these Nichicon Design Kits are the UPW and UCS series Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors utilized in applications such as micro/mini inverters. The UPW and UCS series Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors have higher voltages (350V, 400V, and 450V) that are typically needed in energy harvesting applications, such as solar and wind.

UCS Capacitor Design Kits

Nichicon UCS Capacitor Design Kits include high-voltage UCS Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors for Micro/Mini Inverters. Each Nichicon UCS Capacitor Design Kit contains one voltage group of part numbers for a total of three kits for the series (350V, 400V, and 450V). UCS capacitors offer higher voltages that are typically more suitable for energy harvesting applications, such as solar and wind. UCS capacitors are miniature size and feature high ripple current, high reliability, long load life of 8000 to 10,000 hours at 105°C, capacitance range of 6.8µF to 100µF, voltage range of 350V to 450V, and RoHS compliant.
