Input/Output Connectors

KYOCERA AVX Input / Output Connectors offer robust industrial solutions, providing a wide range of formats, including docking/cradle configurations. The lineup is available in multiple sizes and pitches to fit a broad array of applications. The XX-9157 series connectors feature a patented 20° angled face that can be self-cleaning, a metal latching area to save PCB space, a mechanical 50Ω switching coax for SMT termination, and a single sprung plug contact design that withstands 10,000 mating cycles. The XX-9157 SMT plug uses location pyramids to provide positive alignment to portable devices and assistance in blind mating. The XX-9257 connectors feature a click design for the contacts, which means no latching is required. The XX-9257 series also offers a compact size to optimize PCB space, a metal outer cover, and positive alignment and orientation of the plug and socket.
