531-PT6KV-5K, 531-PT6KV-10K, 531-PT6KV-20K, 531-PT6KV-25K,
531-PT6KV-47K, 531-PT6KV-50K, 531-PT6KV-100K, 531-PT6KV-500K, and
531-PT6KV-1M.
Piher International has informed us that they are have experienced
a few instances of contact intermittancy with the 531-PT6K Series
of Trimmers.
These instances have occurred during the wavesoldering process when
conditions are outside the recommended limits.
It has been concluded that by replacing the brass terminal material
with steel eliminates the problem completely.
After January 1, 1994, these trimmers will be manufactured with the
steel material for the initial and final terminals. The collector
will continue to be made of brass.
